Having someone with a strong knowledge in the local real estate market, environment, regulations and resources, who's primary focus is the "buyer's" interest, has become a valuable investment.

After 10 years of running Lycke Home Service and becoming a licensed real estate broker, John P. Lycke decided that starting a buyer brokerage would provide a valuable service to "buyers" which, to date, had been completely unavailable. This model provided for the ethical structure he wanted for representing clients in real estate transactions without conflict of interest. In 2003 the new HamptonsBuyerBroker.com was started.

John P. Lycke

John P. Lycke was born and raised in Montauk. He has been involved in the family business, Lycke Home Service, for over 20 years, and is a fully licensed real estate broker with a unique and intimate knowledge of the Hamptons and surrounding areas. As a member of the East Hampton Town Planning Board John is involved with the day to day issues confornting residents and potential home owners in this special part of the world. As a local business man John has developed a network of reliable specialists in every field imaginable that relates to home and property ownership in the Hamptons. In addition to his knowledge of the Montauk real estate market, John also has an extensive first hand knowledge of new home construction and renovations in this geograhically isolated and exposed area, where the often brutal winter weather and marine environment are significant factors in long term costs associated with choices of design and construction techniques.

Dana Arikian

Dana Arikian was born and raised in Montauk, NY and has spent most of her life there. She graduated New York University with a bachelors degree in Political Science in 2001 and spent time in New York working for Prudential Securities and on the NYSE floor. She spent three years traveling between Breckenridge, CO and Montauk before returning home. Dana is very familiar with the area as a result of her local upbringing. She enjoys going to the beach, boating, yoga, snowboarding, fishing, and surfing and has recently become a licensed Real Estate Salesperson. She is ready to provide services to prospective buyers and her extensive knowledge of Montauk activities and pastimes can aid buyers in finding their ideal spot.
